ولــد عــادل الــقريشــي فــي الــمملكة الــعربــية الــسعوديــة. أغــرم الــقريشــي بــفن الــتصويــر مــن ســن مــبكر وســعى أن يلتقط بعدسته العالم من حوله. بعد التخرج بشهادة من جامعة الملك فهد للبترول والمعادن، ركز القريشي على تصويـر وتوثيق الحرمين الشريفين. قـام بنشـر أول صور رسـمية لأغـوات الحرم الـنبوي الشـريـف، وهـو أول

أقام الـقريشـي معرضه الـفردي الأول بـعنوان "الأغـوات" فـي مـتحف لـيتون هـاوس فـي لـندن، بـريـطانـيا (2015) بــالإضــافــة إلــى ذلــك، شــارك الــفنان فــي عــدد مــن الــمعارض الجــماعــية مــن ضــمنها مــعرض "كــلمات وإضــاءات" فــي الــمديــنة الــمنورة، بــالــمملكة الــعربــية الــسعوديــة (2014)؛ و "بــاب جــدة" فــي جــالــيري الــفن الــنقي فــي مــديــنة الـريـاض، بالمملكة العربية السعودية (2016).

 

تـم إقتناء أعـمال الـفنان عـادل الـقريشـي الفنية مـن قبل الـعديـد مـن الـمؤسـسات الـفنية مـثل؛ وزارة الـثقافـة فـي الـمملكة الـعربية السعودية والـمتحف الـبريـطانـي؛ والـمتحف الـوطني فـي هـولندا؛ ومجـموعـة بسموكـا الـفنية؛ ومجــموعــة الخــليلي؛ ومــتحف “جــريــن بــوكــس” لــلفن الــمعاصــر مــن الــمملكة الــعربــية الــسعوديــة" فــي  أمســتردام، هولندا

Adel Al Quraishi was born in Saudi Arabia. Intrigued by photography at an early age; the artist was set on capturing the world around him. After graduating with a degree from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Mineral; Al Quraishi specialized in photographing the two holy mosques. He was the first to officially publish photographs of the Guardians of the Prophet’s Mosque, and the first photographer who was granted permission to photograph the Key of the Prophet’s Chamber.

 Al Quraishi had his first solo exhibition titled “The Guardians” at the Leighton House Museum in London (2015). Moreover, the artist participated in a number of group exhibitions; “Words and Illuminations” exhibition in Al Madinah (2014), and “Bab Jeddah” at the L’Art Pur Gallery in Riyadh

(2016).

Al Quraishi’s artworks have been acquired by a number of institutions such as; The Ministry of Culture in Saudi Arabia, The British Museum, The National Museum “Van Wereldculturen” in Netherlands, BASMOCA, The Khalili Collection, and the “Green Box Museum of Contemporary Art from Saudi Arabia” in Amsterdam.
