Nora Alissa’s photographic series "Li'b"—meaning "play"—captures folkloric dance as a living archive of cultural identity and shared memory. Using slow shutters and multiple exposures, Alissa illustrates how physical movement acts as an inherited language, carrying past traditions, regional pride, and universal human themes into the present and future.

While certain dances hold official UNESCO recognition, the project treats all regional performances as equally vital to community heritage. In sharing her process, Alissa highlighted the emotional resonance of documenting Saudi tribal traditions and the significance of bringing a deeply rooted local identity to a global audience.
