LI’B
Identity is reflected most vividly often in performing arts, in the series Li’b or “play” as many folklore dances in the kingdom regions are known. I aim to capture the energy transcending from the past to the present and into the future with images of eclectic dances.
Although some dances received universal acclaim through acceptance into UNESCO’s list of intangible cultural heritage of humanity, they are all equal in possessing a central role in their community’s pride. Also serving as a catalyst in reminiscing the region or tribe past victories and achievements or various universal
themes of love and aspiration.
