يتشرف حافظ جاليري بإقامة معرض جماعي للفنانين المنطقة الشرقية بعنوان ”بدايــــــــــــــات: المنطقة الشرقية“ بمشاركة كل من الفنانين: نبيلة البسام، عبدالرحمن السليمان، عبدالستار الموسى، عبدالله الشيخ، عبدالله المرزوق، و علي الصفار..
"يمثل الفنانون التشكيليون في المنطقة الشرقية اليوم جزءآ هامآ من تسارع الساحة التشكيلية في المملكة العربية السعودية ؛ سواء على مستوى التجارب أو الأسماء أو العروض أو تنوع الأساليب او حداثتها ، وشكلت أغلب المعطيات الجمالية المبكرة إنتماء إلى الموروث المحلي بمختلف اشكاله المتعددة فيما بعد أفرزت الإيدلوجيا معطياتها الإبداعية عندما تبنى الفنانين في كافة ارجاء المحترف السعودي معادلة الأصالة والمعاصرة والتي تمركزت حولها الأعمال الفنية وكشفت عن ِصيَّغ هامة تسيدت المشهد العام فيما افرزت معطياتها المزيد من المعالجات البصرية التي تنتمي لمفاهيم لمعظم التيارات الفنية المبكرة.
تنطوي هذه المقدمة على أول إشارات حققت للفنانين المشاركين في هذا المعرض حضورآ في المشهد التشكيلي في المنطقة الشرقية ولا تعتبر دراسة شاملة تمثل معظم الفنانين في المنطقة الشرقية واطرافها المترامية ، ومن هنا يمكن إعتبار غالبية الفنانين المشاركين في المعرض ممن ساهموا في حيوية الحراك التشكيلي وتنوع معطياته وإن كان هناك فارق بين فنان وآخر في بدايته الزمنية التى استحضرت تجربته الفنية."

Hafez Gallery is honored to host the group exhibition by Saudi artists from the Eastern province; Nabila Al Bassam, Abdulrahman Al Soliman, Abdulsattar Al Mussa, Abdullah Al Shaikh, Abdullah Al Marzook and Ali Al Saffar titled ”Beginnings: The Eastern Province"
"Visual artists in the Eastern region represent an important part of the visual arts scene’s rapid growth in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This phenomenon is occurring be it on the level of experiments, names, and exhibitions or concerned with different methods or even modern approaches. Most of the early aesthetic principles depict the essence of he local heritage in all its facets. Later on, ideology separated its creative data when artists from all over the Saudi artisanal world adopted the authentic and contemporary equivalence around which their works of art are centered. It uncovered important formats that have presided over the general scenery while its bases separate more visual treatments that belong to the major creative art movements.
This introduction expands on the first signs of the presence of the featured artists on the visual arts scene in the Eastern region. This introduction is by no means an exhaustive study that represents most of the Eastern region artists. We can consider that most of the artists participating in the exhibition have contributed to the vivacity of the visual arts movement and the diversity of its content, even if there is an important difference between the art of each artist and his own beginning, which has led to his unique artistic experience."
