معن العبادي فنان سعودي ومطور برامج تدريبية. بدأ ممارسة الفنون في عام 2015 عندما أطلق مشروعه للطباعة ثلاثية الأبعاد. منذ ذلك، عمل بمواد مختلفة مثل الطين والشمع والراتنج والسيليكون واكتسب خبرة في فن الخشب من خلال العمل كنجار في البلد بجدة. يعد اختبار المواد المختلفة - وفهم حدودها وإمكانياتها - جانبًا أساسيًا من مقاربته للفن الذي

Maan Al Abbadi suggests some experimentation on manipulating and sculpting clay with simple tools to try and answer the question “What is the relationship of sculpture and attachment? And how can we reflect such relationships in our lives?”

For: people aged 20 years and above

Recommendations:

No previous artistic experience is required

Participants can attend the workshop on one day only

Participants are recommended to wear comfortable clothes and bring an apron

Maan Al Abbadi is a Saudi artist and training programs developer. He began practicing arts in 2015 when he launched his project of 3D printing. Since then, he has worked with different materials such as clay, wax, resin, silicon, and attained experience in wood art by working as a carpenter in Al Balad, Jeddah. Experimenting with different materials –and understanding their limits and possibilities– is a key aspect of his approach to art that he aims to share with others. In 2022, Al Abbadi was partook in the Art Residency Program | Al Balad.
