OPEN CALL Art Residency I Al Balad 2022 We are pleased to announce the launch of the Second Edition of the Art Residency I Al Balad. The Art Residency | Al Balad is a multiple-cycle artists residency program located in the heart of the historical district of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The program is intended for emerging and mid-career artists, curators, art writers (critics and art historians) from Saudi Arabia and abroad, who are driven to explore ways in which their creative work can be applied to the local context. The open call for candidacies for the second residency cycle will remain open until February 5th 2022. The Art Residency | Al Balad" is a program of the Ministry of Culture as part of the “Art Residency” initiative; it is sponsored by the Quality-of-Life Program included in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
