Join us for the talk “A Journey of an Artist from Jeddah” by Ayman Yossri Daydban on the 7th of April 2022.
This talk will highlight the following:
- Artistic practices of the artist via an art studio concept as a vessel for his artistic reflections and practices over time.
- Samples of the artist’s work from 1991 to 2021 in an attempt to re-read the overview of the contemporary art scene and its stages in Saudi Arabia throughout history and its visual memory.
When: 9:30PM
Where: Front Outer Space of Rubat Al Khunji AlSaghir, Al Balad, Jeddah.
Participation is free with limited seats. The talk will be led in Arabic with English translation.
This talk is part of the Art Residency Program | Al Balad: an initiative by the Ministry of Culture as part of the Quality of Life Program, included in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

حيث تسلّط هذه المحاضرة الضوء على:
- الممارسات الفنية للفنان عبر مفهوم الاستوديو الفني كمخزون لأفكاره وممارساته الفنية مع مرور الوقت.
- نماذج من أعمال الفنان من عام 1991 إلى 2021 في محاولة لإعادة قراءة للنظرة العامة للمشهد الفني المعاصر ومراحله في المملكة عبر التاريخ والذاكرة البصرية له.
الزمان: 9:30 مساءً
المكان: الساحة المفتوحة والأمامية لرباط الخنجي الصغير، منطقة البلد التاريخية، مدينة جدة.
الحضور مجاني، والمقاعد محدودة. ستُجرى المحاضرة باللغة العربية مع وجود ترجمة للغة الانجليزية.
