The Art Gallery Junior Coordinator will support the daily operations of Hafez Gallery. This role involves direct
engagement with the public, coordination with artists, and assisting in the execution of exhibitions and public
programs. The ideal candidate is creative, highly organized, self-motivated, detail- and systems-oriented, and an
excellent communicator and team player. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow their career within a
small, dynamic, and evolving arts organization.
Key Requirements
- (Duties include but are not limited to the following)
1. Conduct research on industry-related topics to support gallery programming and communications.
2. Build and maintain databases of artists, art collectors, galleries, and cultural institutions.
3. Maintain and update Hafez Gallery’s website, platform, and social media channels in coordination with
the IT Manager.
4. Assist in managing project and exhibition monitoring systems and schedules.
5. Support logistics for art production, transport, and installation as needed.
6. Respond to public and client inquiries regarding artworks and artists during gallery hours.
7. Follow up with client's post-exhibition, assist in finalizing sales, and coordinate delivery of acquired
artworks.
8. Create and send the gallery’s monthly newsletter to art collectors and patrons.
9. Develop engaging social media content aligned with the gallery’s communication strategy; ensure
partners adhere to the strategy.
10. Assist with artist management activities under the guidance of the Artist Liaison Director.

Requirements
- • 0-2 years gallery operations experience.
• Love for the arts and artistic innovation.
• Knowledge of social media and internet platforms.
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving, planning and organizational skills.
• Self-sufficient and proactive.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing organization.
• Dependable and reliable visionary.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a good sense of humor.
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
• A commitment to Hafez’s mission and values.
• Bilingual Arabic/English preferred.
• Knowledge of the Hafez’s art scene a plus.
