The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth and expanding Hafez's gallery network of
clients, partners, and supporters. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic
relationships, securing sponsorships, and expanding revenue streams through sales, collaborations, and cultural
initiatives.
Key Requirements
- o Strategic Growth & Partnerships:
○ Identify and develop new business opportunities in local and international markets.
○ Build and maintain strong relationships with collectors, institutions, sponsors, and collaborators.
○ Develop partnership proposals and sponsorship packages for art fairs, exhibitions, and special projects.
○ Represent the gallery in industry events, art fairs, and networking platforms.
o Sales & Client Management:
o Collaborate with the sales and artist liaison teams to support artwork sales and commission
opportunities.
o Expand the client base through targeted outreach and relationship building.
○ Maintain CRM and monitor client engagement and acquisition metrics.
o Project & Proposal Development:
○ Lead the development of strategic business proposals for private and public sector collaborations.
○ Prepare pitch decks, presentations, and reports tailored to different audiences.
○ Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment between business strategy and public
communication.
o Market Research & Trend Monitoring:
○ stay updated on art market trends, funding opportunities, and potential cultural partnerships.
○ Provide insights and analysis to guide the gallery’s business strategy.
o Budgeting & Performance Tracking:
○ Work with finance and project Management to prepare budgets for new initiatives.
o Track KPIs related to business development and report outcomes to the Managing Director.

Requirements
- ● Bachelor's degree in business administration, Arts Management, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s
degree is a plus.
● Proven experience (3–5 years) in business development, preferably in the art, culture, or creative
industries.
● Strong network within the art world or cultural sector (local or international).
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
● Proficient in proposal writing, CRM tools, and business analytics.
